Walking the Streets with Sinem 🍱🥙🌯
Dear readers welcome to my food blog. Be sure that this blog will be both more delicious and a combination of many countries than any other blog I have written. I leave you alone with other country-specific street delicacies I've tried so far, without taking too much time.
1) Gol Gappa (India)
If you go to India, you can see that most people on the street earn a living selling "Gol Gappa". It's one of the best street flavors I've ever tasted, which can be eaten with a few ingredients that thinly open a simple dough and put in it. If chickpeas are put in it, they put the chickpeas ' scalding water. Or if it's made with lentils, they put lentils boiled water. And when a little spice is added to it, it turns into a great flavor.
If you want to try it, you can go to the video narration by clicking here.
2) Fried Sticks (Thailand)
Actually, I don't know how right I am to put it in multiple. Since most of these fried sticks are my favorites, I think I'll mention them all. When we get very hungry on the way, we don't want to get too full, and we look for snacks. Or I could say that for me. If so, make sure that when you go to Thailand, you will be very happy eating these fried sticks. There are many varieties; sausage, octopus, shrimp, meat, dough balls... I tried many of them at the festival in Turkey 2-3 years ago, and I'm sure it fits our taste buds very well.

3) Afghan Rice (Afghanistan)
Have you ever eaten rice with both dessert and salt? In fact, in our culture, there is an example of this made with raisins. I may have been lying if I said it was no different than ours. Especially the type of rice used has fewer calories. It contains lots of carrots, spices, and a slightly different raisin. And, of course, it doesn't suit you at dinner without chicken or meat. If you go to Afghanistan or come to my house, you may have a chance to taste the rice. 😂😂
4) Khao Mahk (Thailand)
I'm a girl who likes to eat a lot of rice, but I never thought I'd eat it for dessert one day and love it. Called rice pudding, this dessert is actually one of the simplest desserts you can find and eat. Whole grains of sticky rice sweetly fermented into a pudding that remains slightly crunchy. You can eat dessert and feed your stomach a little.
5) Jalebi (India)
Jalebi, an example of which is also found in Turkey, means dough stick. Although many in long strips, they are generally more common in the spiral form in India. It is no different from our Turkish dessert, which we call" ring dessert", but sometimes you are very likely to smell the more intense cinnamon taste or spices that match other desserts. Although we need to find a small difference, Jalebi is not as heavily sugary as our dessert.
Lovely Jalebi
Yes Actually, I can write many more dishes here, but I want to make it a series. So I can share more food and recipes with you. I'd love to write down the places you can find and eat in Turkey, but believe me, I don't know where they exist. Even I had the chance to taste most of it through the festival. But I hope you get a chance to try the recipes I gave you.
Stay with love, health, and peace.
See you in the next article.
